SMPP Connectivity

SMPP (Short Message Peer-to-Peer) is the industry-standard protocol that applications and aggregators use to exchange SMS with a messaging center (SMSC). With Telrics, your systems connect as SMPP clients (ESMEs) to send and receive messages reliably.

Each connection is fully configurable — system ID, bind type, window size, enquire-link interval, throughput (TPS), and queue limits — so you can tune performance per integration.

SS7 / SIGTRAN Signaling

SS7 (Signaling System No. 7) is the signaling backbone of traditional telecom networks. SIGTRAN carries that signaling over modern IP networks using SCTP, so legacy SS7 can interconnect with internet-based systems.

Telrics provisions SIGTRAN stacks for you — SCTP associations, M3UA adaptation, and SCCP routing — letting SMS route natively toward carrier nodes for better reach and cost efficiency, without maintaining physical SS7 hardware.
